Predictions of Nemat Ullah Shah Wali (Book Review)

Few days back, while searching some good read at our online office portal, I accidentally came across this book. Main content of this book has been written in Persian poetic form. Translations of this book in different languages are available including Urdu. The version I came across was translated by Mr Zaid Hamid.

Although I have much ideological conflicts with Zaid Hamid but still, the translation can be catagorized as good read.

Nemat Ullah Shah Wali was a pious man centuries before. He basically wrote a sort of Trans-Literature. I won't call his subject matter as prediction because of the reason that finality rests in the hands of Allah. Secondly what a saint can see is just a fair illusion of the happening but in actual scenario, these illusions are altered by Allah Almighty in the greater interest.

He starts from Mughal Empire and goes till the arrival of Jesus Christ. All events come up in an order of their happening. Most of the scenarios described in the couplets happened in reality but not all. Rise and fall of Mughals, British Government and then creation of Pakistan are the main events to be mentioned. Then he described the age of looting and hypocracy in Pakistan. In this era, he especially mentioned the role of hypocrate learned scholars.

He ended up the tale with the happening of Ghazva-e-Hind and arrival of Imam Mehdi followed by arrival of Jesus Christ. Qudrat Ullah Shahab also mentioned few of his predictions in his autobiography named Shahab Nama (شہاب نامہ). The point of writing this review is to spare some time for this book as well. Finality rests in the hands of Allah.

The New Face of Balochistan (Pakistan)

You people might be wondering about the title but let me assure you, this is going to be the reality very soon Insha Allah. The factors I would be listing below which are going to shape Balochistan as the new face of Pakistan.

The recent CPEC developments which were of very high anticipation might lead someone to a point that Punjab is being showered with the blessings of CPEC but this is not the case. I have travelled through Balochistan from Krachi to Quetta and then Quetta to Punjab i.e. Dera Ghazi Khan and I will be kisting down below why I called it as new face of pakistan.

Balochistan is connected to rest if the provinces by RCD, N-50 and N-70. There are very old routs which were operational from the British era. Sad to say is that no work had been done on these routs for the last fifty years. With the initiation of CPEC, these routs are being constructed again and have been given the status of Motorways/National Highways. The new route being constructed from Gawader to Punjab directly is M-8 which is also in the final phases.

These routs are going to change the complete demography of Balochistan. Just imagine how much business will be created on these routs once fully functional. While travelling from Quetta to Dera Ghazi Khan, I had a chance have a look at the initial glimpses of this route.
Let me add one thing more i.e. Balochi culture which is too rich especially when it comes to foods. I have travelled in all provinces of Pakistan and believe me, I grade Balochi food on the top of all. This will have its own charm when culture collision takes place.

Balochistan is the most rich province when it comes to mineral resources. With the induction if technology and latest mining trends, Balochistan is going to generate too much for Pakistan.
This is now a matter of five years. After five years, the new face of Pakistan will be Balochistan Insha Allah.
Long live Pakistan....

Pain and SKMCH

Let me congratulate Imran Khan on the occassion of successful completion of second cancer hospital of Pakistan i.e. Shaukat Khanam Memorial Cancer Hospital Peshawer. Hoping to see another SKMCH in Karachi soon IA.

It is a story of pain which some one comes across any time in his life. Imran Khan stated " The last two months of the pain I sufferred once my mother was suffering from cancer at last stage and I could not do anything except watching her creeping towards death was too immense to create something where some one could come and get the tratement without any issue of money and resources".

This is the mission statement for anyone who carries courage enough to stand up and be counted. Imran Khan stood up and did it. No words to commemorate the feel for Imran Khan.

Let me add one thing to them who still are rating it as a political stunt of Inran Khan. One week before a loved one of mine got diagnosed with cancer. The pain I was saw in the eyes of whole family was too much. Once they visited SKMCH lahore, it was too positive to see their faces back to life once doctors gave the verdict of curable disease.

Imran Khan is the name of struggle and honesty. People trust him because he bears a character and an honest deal. So his last call for fund raising was too encouraging for those who still feel standing up for a cause.

May Allah bless us all and be honest in the name of religion, character and cause we carry.

Educational Reforms in Southern Punjab

This might be a bit disturbing for few but for masses residing in remote areas of southern Punjab, this is a bit positive to have few steps for education department devised and implemented by CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif. Things have finally started working but few things needed to be catered for regarding these steps.

1. Three layered monitorning system introduced by Punjab Govt is a bit complex. DTEs are required to pay a visit to every school of their  cluster one a week. Where as monitering teams also pay a visit to every school once a month. Frequent visits by higher officers of Education Department are also there. All this has created a mess at Govt opeated schools.

2. The new teacher selection regime is workable if subject oriented merit short listing is done. Right now open merit system is in operation but I have seen agriculture specilist and engineers boys being selected for teaching at primary level. Subject related merit should be set to have professionals in this field.

3. Open merit system has another demerit. Teachers selected on open merit mostly belong to cities but they are posted in remote schools. Due to poor transport system and very bad condition of roads in Southern Punjab, they are unable to be present in time at schools. They also become habitual of attending four days at school. Merit should be open at union council level to cater for this issue.

4. Free books are not deleivered in time at remote schools. One to three months delay has been obsered. Mafia is also there to get these books from schools and then sale these books in the market. Students have to buy these books to save their time and lectures.

5. Every child at school regime has created a negative competetion between Govt operated schools and private sector. Society is governed by influencial factors so poor are unable to send their children in private schools where as in Govt schools, their children are enrolled but not studuing.

6. "Maar Nahi Piyaar" regime is positive but prior to that, teachers are required to induce pre training for this regime to make it a success.

Few lines by mine are actually my feel for this sector as I myself have sufferred all thsi. May some one influencial reads it and makes it workable for greater good.

Perveen Shakir : A Feel Never Fades Away

I am no one to pay a tribute to Parveen Shakir. Few words which I feel, must be said as my personal feel for her.

The first line I ever read about here was
وہ تو خوشبو ہے
ہوائوں میں بکھر جائے گی
And thats what happened. May Allah grant her higher rank in Jannah.

حسین احساسات کی شاعرہ پروین شاکر

I read few of her books. I always had an innocence prevailing at my feel perimeters while going through the lines she created. She lived, felt, wrote and always stood by her innocence. Thats the only thing differenciating her from all other writers of her era.

She died of a tragic road accident. She is martyred (شہید) and selected ones are given this prestigious rank.
May her lines live an innocent life.

Understanding Shahab Nama (شہاب نامہ)

Let me take you about fifteen years back when I, surprisingly got the joining letter of Cadet College Hassan Abdal. Me being there amongst the elite of Pakistan was a bit unique but I had to take the challenge. Me, belonging to remote Southern Punjab was going to attend the boarding school for the next five years.

Qudrat Ullah Shahab
The day I left my home town, my father added a line to me "Always guard your character and read Shahab Nama". What an aweful addition it proved to be in the time to come.

I read Shahab Nama twice during my stay at Cadet College Hassan Abdal. The thing worth mentioning here is that I stole Shahab Nama every time I read it. I don't know what and how it happened. But I did it.

Most part of history of Pakistan is here in this chaptee of Shahab Nama
Coming over to the peripheral horizons of Shahab Nama, let me admit one thing that we are sometimes associated or affiliated to some one upto an extent where we can't even expect human behavior from him. We make him something supernatural via our affiliations. Same happens to Shahab Nama when most of us read it.

Here  are few things to be kept in mind whike reading this masterpiece;

1. Let Qudat Ullah Shahab , author of Shahab Nama be a human being and give him room for human behaviors.
2. Accept this book as an angle to see what all happened infront of the author.
3. If this book has infuelned millions, it doesn't mean it would mark an impression upon you as well. You are a free mind, let it roam about in your mind.
4. Keep in mind, this is autobiography, not some refrence or history book. Although writer has covered history portion and perhaps it is most authentic book regarding history of that time but still it is an autobiography. Let it be like that.
5. Last chapter is also a personal observation of the writer regarding religion. Let it be like that and the writer as human being. Give him room to love some girl at his youth as well. After all every sinner has a future and every pious had a past.
6. What best you can do for a writer who leaves his impression at your mind is to offer fateha for him even once.

Shahab Nama
This is what I feel foe Shahab Nama. More about Shahab Nama can also be read at Qudrat Ullah Shahab (Facebook Fan Page) and Group.

The Man of Grace: Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Few days back, I was contacted by a friend of mine to share a moment of grace with me. The moments he sent were few snaps of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with the caption of GRACE.

I am a born Pakistani who feels, talks and shares about Pakistan and all aspects covering the positivism of this diversified cultural and sufi basis of this country. But surprisingly, I just had some what bookish affiliation with Muhammad Ali Jinnah. I read a chapter about him in my primary class text book and then Pakistan Studies book. Anyway I got those gracy moments via snaps of Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

After looking at the snaps, roll back of  thechildish memories of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah started at my mind. Starting from his dialogue with his sis Miss Fatimah Jinnah in which he stated not sleep to become a great man. Then was the line of the most expensive lawyer of sub-continent followed by the most graceful politician of the word. And so on.

The last pay, last place, last word uttered by Quaid-e-Azam and the last situation he was into carried a lot regarding his graceful stand up, struggle and the fake coins he played on during the struggle for the first independent muslic ideological state of the world.

Dramatic return of Quaid-e-Azam at the political hemisphere of sub-continent is also another story of positivism regarding ideological and islamic stature of Pakistan.

The point here was the grace radiant face he always carried. I still feel his line once he went to British United Kingdom for some dialogue between Hindu and Muslim politicians. He said " I am at my mission". The talk is around about this mission directly assigned to him by Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad PBUH.

And at the end once Pakistan came into being, he said:

" مسلمان مصیبت میں گھبرایا نہیں کرتا "

I am no one to write a line about a man who conqurred the world with the grace he carried at his face. These are the lines I wrote on a Facebook Page about him.

May Allah shower its blessings upon  Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Snow Charisma of FATA (Razmak)

Most of our country men might not be knowing about the fact that in 70s and early 80s, FATA used to be one of the favorite tourist resorts all over the world. This is because of its charms in a sense of beauty, culture, nature and above all weather. It is unpredictable most of the times just like its inhabitants.

Razmak, one of the favorite resorts of British Empire (before creation of Pakistan) is worth visiting when it comes to beauty of fana and flora.  British remains are still there like forts, mess halls, guest rooms etc. Razmak received its first snow fall two days back. When I looked at the hills nearby, I felt proud of being Pakistani and couldn't stop myself from sharing this beauty with all around in Pakistan.

Following are after snow snaps of Razmak.

Pakistan is one of the most beautiful countries of the world if explored. I shared summer beauty of Razmak few months back as well but this is bewitching stuff I must say. May Allah bless Pakistan.

Unseen Beauty of FATA (Razmak)

Few days back, a friend of mine sent me few pics of Razmak. He has been there for the last one year. Being a curious soul, I used to ask him about the area and finally he send me these pics. The valley of Razmak is located in the west of Lakki Marwat and Bannu.

This area had been under control of TTP in the start. But then Pakistan Army carried out operation and cleared the area. This is fruit rich, lush green, cool and bewitching place on earth. Even Queen Elizbeth visited it and still there is a vacation resort here in her name.

If we are able to restore peace and normal life practices here, and promote tourism in this area, It can be a worthy source of income for us. Plus it can add to the positive image building of Pakistan all over the world. Long Live Pakistan.

Five Reasons Why I Love Sialkot !!!

Sialkot, an industry ridden city, still lovable I suppose... City of hard workers, self made tycoons, crick geeks, foodi guys and much more... Still there is a feel, a unique essence of this city.....

Iqbal Square Sialkot
Let me muster up some scattered words which I collected via feels of this city i.e.

1. The beauty.... until Sialkotiz open their mouth :P This might be because of a peculiar accent of Punjabi which comes from inter mixing of Punjabi and Kashmiri languages. Same goes for their color and complexion of Sialkotiz...

2. Taste of food.... There is a spice every where starting from Pizza Huts n Take Awaz till Dhabaz every where. But I love Sialkoti Taste... Even some times I forget Multan or even Lahore....

3. Hard Work... Sialkot is totally a self made tycoon of Pakistan... Every one loves to work here in every social circle of this city. Millionaires to Cart boys, every one is committed to earn something and make things positive for themselves as well as for the country.

4. Weather... It is too hot in summer n too cold in winter but still it does not pinch you... If there is heat in the air, expect rain in the evening. And rain remains there for days....

5. Last but not the last, home town of Allama Muhammad Iqbal... I was astonished to see a Wali Ullah sitting at the door steps of Iqbal Manzil when I visited it one year before.

I have been here for the last few years but if choice is there, I would like being here for long !!!

Will This Strategic Evolution of Pak Cricket Team Work in WI Tour?

Pakistan Cricket Team has left for West Indies. The team combination, the bowling factors and the strategy which they are going to adopt both in bowling and batting needs some special attention. Tis is because of the Induction of players like Ahmed Shehzad and Shahid Khan Afridi. But still there are questions regarding the form of players.

All the newly inducted players have not played the domestic cricket. So they carry a question mark regarding the form and fitness. Rest of the team is just back from ICC Champions Trophy so they psychologically not in a better position to form a better winning combination. The captain Misbah ul Haq refused to utter few words regarding their preparation and combination at Karachi airport. He send Nasir Jamshed who seemed determined to make a win.

The batting strategy is going to change as Muhammad Hafeez will not be opening the inning along with Nasir Jamshed. Ahmed Shahzad is expected to open. He is young, energetic, talented and more over confident enough so we can expect a good show from him. Misbah ul Haq said "As we are having three regular openers, so we can have any one from Nasir Jamshed, Ahmed Shahzad or Muhammad Hafeez going to open the game".

Saeed Ajmal has been quoted as being used in some unique bowling combination to tackle the strong batting line of West Indies. But all this is still vague. We have to wait for the time when they do something positive at practical grounds to make the whole nation proud.

Good Luck the cricket team, cricket fans and the whole Pakistan.

Last drops of blood

Few years before when I read a famous book Raja Gidh by Bano Qudssia, I could not understand the philosophy of social pressure. The time changed and gradually I became such a citizen of Pakistan who like everyone had been a victim of debts, taxes and violence.  The time taught me all social inequalities and the the theory of social pressure.

The new government formed by PMlN presented it's first budget with the claims of business friendly without any taxes. It was appreciated by  almost all TVs and print media. But the poor nation did not know the insights of what all had been played with figures.

Tomorrow is the first day of implementation of the new budget.  Even myself getting curious to see what all is there in the name of business friendly???

There are rumors that the hundred rupee mobile card would be rewarding just 58 rupee.  The basic necessities of life are expected to go sky high.  The luxuries are going to be cheap.  The poor would be getting poorer and the rich getting richer.  I can't have any authentic statement but above all is what I came across via media.

If it is so, the things are going to be drastic.  The poor is already at the verge of death.  The last drop of his blood is going to be fatal for these luxurious cults who are always there to decide ho's fate.  The social pressure is at critical point and the rulers need to take the notice. If not,  nature is there to maintain the balance.  Pakistan zindabad.

Social maturity in Pakistan

It is just a matter of few decades that Pakistan came into being. The world map never imagined that a country of a small area could be a bottle bottle neck for most of the international rather inter continental interests.

But even before golden jubilee celebration, this small country started dreaming of super power. This is something one can just dream of it.  The time passed but it taught a lot kg lessons but as usual in a bitter way.

The political instability brought on the social masses thought the invasion of armed forces in the houses kept on changing the faces of this new country as Islamic,  political,  extremist,  religious redical and some tomes the enlightened moderate.  Every body got the right to name it in its own way. But I would call it the process of non stop social evolution.

The cold shoulder shown by Gen kayani to these political integrities improved the current political horizons resulting in widening the vision of a common man,  making home well aware of what all social and political was going to happen, making him more wise after getting itself crushed in the inflation and sense of non stop insecurity.  What ever you call it,  this has been a blessing in disguise for Pakistan,  poor nation and a warning call for the political cults.

But now one came expect something better. This is through the rigorous five years of last government resulting into the adolescence of a new political party.  Imran khan got into the politics of KPK all in all. Rest all in the laps of PMLN.  Now the scree has started vanishing and a sense of competition started between the policies and policy makers of both the parties. Although Imran khan is leading but PMLN is also getting positive in this  regard.

The only thing remaining to be worked on is discipline. Rest all have started showing the change.  Something positive which can be regarded as the first sign of social maturity in Pakistan.

Quaid e Azam! This is what you never deserved !!!

The residence of our beloved Quaid e Azam was targeted with a bomb and it resulted in destruction. Just a news as usual in Pakistan.

But do we carry some mind, some feeling , some conscious, some love, some patience,  some regard, some words of praise n thanks,  some ideological social and ethical regrets and some tears to shed at this occasion???

As I mentioned in my previous post that we are still living under the shadows of slavery.  Usual is what we proved at this occasion.

Just take a break of few moments,  look inside you and think about what we are getting and what all our actions argument to what we deserve as a nation!!!

Generations under the shadows of slavery

Sitting in the class room using Facebook whole hiding the cell phone from teacher had been something exciting but when I came across the tragic death of Fared Khan ,  MPA from Hangu. He had been a poor man through his whole life.  He worked hard to make his both hands meet. This was essence of awareness, struggle and Democratic maturity that he stood up for a change, for a better future, for a struggle standards of basic needs of life. The struggle always comes up with something bright.

The new hopes, new aims and new intentions for the better tomorrow of country started with the new government establishment.  But the bitter realities of socio political hoax remained there. The first session of provincial assembly was about to be held after few moments when Fareed Khan entered the assembly wearing worn out suite and plastic chappal. Perhaps this was the turning point in his life. On the very next night he was killed and terrorists have been held responsible for his killing.

I am just sitting silent, trying to figure out the factors related to this tragic incident but still sitting dump. I am unable to blame system, society, political factors and the inter party rifts because these are part of the time playing their part for such incidents.

The system is still under the process of getting mature. But still the dark shadows of slavery are there. There are times when every one is knowing the killer but does not carry the courage to stand up and be counted for the maturity of system, better future of society and a better tomorrow.

This is going to end when we are going to stop the blame game. There is always something one to take the responsibility when ever there is such incident.  And we are living in the fool,s paradise that we accept all of sudden what so ever is being told rather being fed to our society by this paid media.

I just checked all the leading TV channels and the news groups regarding this news but like always got ripped. Media was very busy in softening the opinion of social masses about the gradients who all stand behind the curtain controlling the tangibles of our society. We all know these killers.

But still o grade this incident as the dark before dawn.

لمبی ہےغم کی شام مگر شام ہی تو ہے.

Note: This is sole my opinion and can differ from the reader.

All Time Best Juggat(جگت ) Collection

Today I was not in a mood to write something on my blog. This was due to certain reasons like I was busy, no new topics were at my mind and I was not in a rutine to write on blog. But while going through facebook ststus updates, Suddenly came across such a Jugatti status that I could not stop myself from laughing and writing this for you people.

Juggat (جگت ) is a Punjabi word which means any word, phrase or sentence which creates pun and brings smiles on the gloomy faces. It always gets itss origin from our social inequalities and then it acts as a reminder for our social streamliners to take a break and look at what all has been there due to the inequalities.

Anyway, here is the status which I am copying from the Zafri Khan Fan Page. Read it and enjoy!!!
