Do I Need It ?

With the eruption of social media and exposure of a complete generation to this aspect, there are a few serious consequences which every one of us is facing. These consequences include poor time management, false stress, tension and some medical issues like headache etc which i mentioned in visual pollution.
Now the question remains like what should be the steps involved to cater for these issues.
As per my apprehension, I have devised certain principles to have a balanced dose of all these factors to live a balanced life. These steps move around one single line i.e. "Do I Need It???".
Now what is this line?
1. Before starting any activity, just give it a one second. Stop by and think "Do I need it???". If the answer is no, stop there and then. If the answer is yes, give it another thought i.e. " How much I need this activity? ". Now analyse the need and come to time distribution of said activity.
Believe me, this line carries the potential to change the complete course of life.

Visual Pollution: The Most Dangerous

Few days back, I started feeling severe headache and pain in my eyes. After few basic diagnostic techniques, I formed my opinion that all the pain was  due to a psychological issue. My mind was strongly opposing the content being shown to me on print and electronic media. I started further research on the subject topic and my findings are as follows.

1. We are being shown the content which is of commercial basis. Every print and electronic media mean is trying to capture our visual space to get their content and ideas penetrated in our minds so that corporate effects can be gained.

2. We use media to see what we want to see and then get our psychological benefits but our visual space capturing phenomena takes place and a strong repulsing stream from our mind is created which results in behavior changes. Extreme cases can result in the form of severe headache and neck ache.

3. Print and electronic media is capturing more than 50% of our visual space. This can also be regarded as visual corruption. There must be some standards and visual limits for the usage of our visual space.

4. The most affected part of this pollution is children. Their visual space is being taken much from the real world which can result in many psychological problems.

If this issue is not catered for, we may see a drastic increase in the psy cases of children and loss of eyesight in children. In grown ups, certain psy issues and other medical complications can be of increase. There is a dire need to understand, analyse and plan our visual space for the better usage of our natural health cycles.

The Best Beach to Spend a Weekend in Pakistan

Few days back, I had to travel in the far flung areas of Balochistan for some business reasons. Except the official workout, the thing I discovered is a bit astonishing for most of us.
This is a beach.... A beach worth spending a weekend here in Pakistan.
We stopped here for almost an hour while going a coming back from Balochistan. The silent stretches of beach, fast winds, crystal clear water and clean sand make this beach worth moments. I am talking about Somiani beach near Hubb in Balochistan.
Although Ormara and Gawadar beaches are also worth visiting but Somiani carries specail attraction because of above mentioned factors.
Here is a small pictorial of the beach.

Bano Qudssia : An Era Ends

Bano Qudssia was a legendry urdu writer. She was born in a literate family of Lahore. She married to a renowned drama writer Ishfaq Ahmed and passed away yesterday. Her writings include Raja Gidh, the most anticipated, read, discussed and lived.
That is the shorted brief of her life perhaps. But there are few things which I wanted to write abut her as my personal apprehensions about her.
1. She lived three lives at the same time. The first one as a wife, socond one as a writer and third one as "khidmatgar" of  few litrary legends of that time i.e. Qudrat Ullah Shahab, Mumtaz Mufti and Ishfaq Ahmed. Here the word "khidmatgar" includes focal point of all the feels which these legends carried regarding litrary creations.
2. She wrote for life and for the feel of era. She once quoted " we used to measure the price of even our household items in the form of scripts we had written to earn that".
3. Above all of these factors, he mother factor multiplied after death of her husband and the close ones. Her home " Dastan Sarai " became a place of love for all who loved urdu literature and this legacy. He uses to hold meetups of emerging writers and all those who wanted to have a good will of this legacy.
Although I had no direction relation or interaction with this legacy and Bano Qudssia, still that feel prevails around me.
May Allah bless her the highest rank in Jannah and keep this legacy of love and literature alive in the time to come.

Predictions of Nemat Ullah Shah Wali (Book Review)

Few days back, while searching some good read at our online office portal, I accidentally came across this book. Main content of this book has been written in Persian poetic form. Translations of this book in different languages are available including Urdu. The version I came across was translated by Mr Zaid Hamid.

Although I have much ideological conflicts with Zaid Hamid but still, the translation can be catagorized as good read.

Nemat Ullah Shah Wali was a pious man centuries before. He basically wrote a sort of Trans-Literature. I won't call his subject matter as prediction because of the reason that finality rests in the hands of Allah. Secondly what a saint can see is just a fair illusion of the happening but in actual scenario, these illusions are altered by Allah Almighty in the greater interest.

He starts from Mughal Empire and goes till the arrival of Jesus Christ. All events come up in an order of their happening. Most of the scenarios described in the couplets happened in reality but not all. Rise and fall of Mughals, British Government and then creation of Pakistan are the main events to be mentioned. Then he described the age of looting and hypocracy in Pakistan. In this era, he especially mentioned the role of hypocrate learned scholars.

He ended up the tale with the happening of Ghazva-e-Hind and arrival of Imam Mehdi followed by arrival of Jesus Christ. Qudrat Ullah Shahab also mentioned few of his predictions in his autobiography named Shahab Nama (شہاب نامہ). The point of writing this review is to spare some time for this book as well. Finality rests in the hands of Allah.

The New Face of Balochistan (Pakistan)

You people might be wondering about the title but let me assure you, this is going to be the reality very soon Insha Allah. The factors I would be listing below which are going to shape Balochistan as the new face of Pakistan.

The recent CPEC developments which were of very high anticipation might lead someone to a point that Punjab is being showered with the blessings of CPEC but this is not the case. I have travelled through Balochistan from Krachi to Quetta and then Quetta to Punjab i.e. Dera Ghazi Khan and I will be kisting down below why I called it as new face of pakistan.

Balochistan is connected to rest if the provinces by RCD, N-50 and N-70. There are very old routs which were operational from the British era. Sad to say is that no work had been done on these routs for the last fifty years. With the initiation of CPEC, these routs are being constructed again and have been given the status of Motorways/National Highways. The new route being constructed from Gawader to Punjab directly is M-8 which is also in the final phases.

These routs are going to change the complete demography of Balochistan. Just imagine how much business will be created on these routs once fully functional. While travelling from Quetta to Dera Ghazi Khan, I had a chance have a look at the initial glimpses of this route.
Let me add one thing more i.e. Balochi culture which is too rich especially when it comes to foods. I have travelled in all provinces of Pakistan and believe me, I grade Balochi food on the top of all. This will have its own charm when culture collision takes place.

Balochistan is the most rich province when it comes to mineral resources. With the induction if technology and latest mining trends, Balochistan is going to generate too much for Pakistan.
This is now a matter of five years. After five years, the new face of Pakistan will be Balochistan Insha Allah.
Long live Pakistan....
